Youth Police Academy
The Westerville Division of Police is offering a one-week Youth Police Academy in July. The program is designed for any student interested in law enforcement or a similar career within the criminal justice field. Students must be at least 14 years old (and completed the eighth grade) and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Students must also have minimal school discipline and will be required to pass a background check. A complete list of requirements is included in the application. The program is limited to 20 students.
